a collection made throughout 2020 that were influenced by the havoc caused during the European conquest of indigenous  people and their native lands. As a person of Dominican descent, I dove deep into searching for my history and ancestral identity since the Caribbean has a unique genetic and cultural makeup, formed by Africans, Europeans and the original inhabitants of the islands. The emotions I felt during this journey of discovery are expressed in these paintings.
